Since summer of 2006, Volvo sells an updated version of the Volvo S60. It changes the body mainly with new optional equipment, and the frame. The range of engines remains unchanged.
Decorative modifications of the body are mainly optional elements of the bodywork, interior and exterior. The front flap has a different option at the bottom and can be completely painted the color of the bodywork. It can lead a small rear spoiler also optional, at the apex of the trunk.
Volvo S60
The full range now has a different grille, with the coat of Volvo larger. The new mirrors have built intermittent. There are three new colors (silver electric blue and red maple Orinoco) and three new tires: Nodus (7 "x 16"), Tucana (7.5 "x 17") and Eudora (8 "x 18").
Inside there are optional decorative aluminum, mainly in the console and steering wheel. Also you can optionally instruct instrumentation shaped clock, which introduced the Volvo S80 and previously only available for the Volvo S60R.
The range of upholstery is different. Now there is an optional leather panels that combines two different tones and textures. The steering wheel can be perforated leather.
The Volvo S60 may optionally xenon headlights for short and long, with lighting curve. Another item of equipment that is changes are intermittent, which now gives three flashes with a soft touch on the lever. Optionally, the mirror can be an internal compass.
2007 Volvo S60 Interior
The Volvo S60 has changed throughout the suspension. The piers, and stabilizing the caps are less flexible, shock absorbers are harder. According to Volvo, the new Volvo S60 has a roll down 25 percent.
2007 Volvo S60 Engine
The range of gasoline engines has five variants of a five-cylinder engine: 140, 170, 209, 260 or 299 hp. Everyone can have a manual gearbox or automatic, except the most powerful Volvo S60R that only can be manual. Both are less powerful front-wheel drive, traction is the most powerful total of 209 hp and can be front-wheel drive or full.
There are three diesel engines, also with five-cylinder engine: 126, 163 or 185 hp. All have front-wheel drive and the two can lead a more powerful automatic gearbox.
